Ben Nichols’ early project Red 40 is now available for streaming
Formed in Little Rock in 1994 by eventual Lucero frontman Ben Nichols alongside Colin Brooks and Steve Kooms, Red 40 made “raw, heartfelt pop-punk in the shadow of Jawbreaker” for its mere two years of existence. The band’s sole 7-inch is now streamable, thanks to archival label Numero Group.
