Ben Affleck screams and hugs Jeopardy champ as they win $1m on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

BEN AFFLECK was seen screaming and hugging Jeopardy! champion Jamie Ding as they bagged the $1million cash prize on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The American actor made an appearance on the celebrity version of the popular quiz show in attempt to win big for his charity. Host Jimmey Kimmel read them the question: “In an annual Thanksgiving tradition, all but one of these have been the names of turkeys pardoned by a US president.” The duo were given four options: Peanut butter and Jelly, Tater and Tot, Mac and Cheese and Spaghetti and Meatball. But, their risks paid off as they later found out they’d won the whopping prize fund. As their success was announced the 53-year-old’s eyebrows shot up in shock and his jaw was left hanging open. After his big win sank in, he leapt out of his chair screaming as threw his hands in the air before embracing Jamie in a huge hug. Most read in TV Ben looked on top of the world after bagging the $1million and couldn’t stop smiling. His trivia partner, Jamie, was a law student who won 31 consecutive games on Jeopardy! As the pair attemped to answer the question Jimmy reminded them they still had the Phone-A-Friend and Ask-The-Host lifeline to use. “We might as well have Jimmy’s help,” said Ben, who also suggested they still ring up Jamie’s longtime quiz partner Stephen Morrison Jimmy replied: “Alright, I don’t have to give you any of my f***ing thoughts, if you don’t want.” Ben noted that the telly legend is a good cook and quite knowledgeable on current events. Giving it a punt, Jimmy suggested the answer could be Spaghetti and Meatball. “You’re probably the best person in the world to ask this question to,” joked Ben. Jimmy locked in his own answer after they doubled-checked with Jamie’s pal – who was left baffled by the question and refused to put his ten pence in. Despite the uncertainty in the room the duo secured the money for Ben’s charity. The charity dishes out funds to help locals rebuild their communities in Congo, while also pushing world leaders to back them. Comment now
