In March, Coca-Cola said that the sparkling mineral water Topo Chico was “temporarily unavailable” in the United States because of “facility upgrades at the water source and production facilities in Mexico.”But this week, sources told Fox News that the beverage would be returning to some shelves with limited availability. A spokesperson for Coca-Cola told Fox News Digital that Topo Chico “is beginning a phased return starting at select retailers across Texas. “We know people have missed Topo Chico, and we’re excited to bring its iconic bubbles back to shelves, with plans to expand to additional U.S. markets in 2027,” a statement to Fox said. A quick search of social media revealed posts indicating the familiar green bottles with yellow labels have been spotted in stores around Texas, Oklahoma and California. Many were celebrating the return while others expressed disappointment that they still weren’t available in their market.The product, which is sold in a glass bottle and is known for its carbonation and slightly salty taste, is made in Monterrey.
