The objective is to bring slimmer, more durable, safer, and longer-lasting devices to market. I think we can all agree that those qualities would be greatly appreciated, especially since these devices charge all our vital products daily. Belkin drops a few bullet points for its new semi-solid-state products, like three times longer battery life and stable charging performance from zero to 40 degrees Celsius. But what you really want to know is what you're getting with the Belkin Ultra Charge Pro power bank. Belkin states that the Ultra Charge Pro 5K model is 40% slimmer than previous 5K power banks the company has produced. This model is Qi2-certified with 15W magnetic wireless charging, up to 22.5W USB charging, 7.5W passthrough charging, and a metal case. This model costs $64.99, and you should be able to find it at most popular retailers starting in September. There's also a 10K model that's 27% smaller than previous Belkin power banks and can provide up to 60W charging. This one is better utilized for larger devices like laptops. It has dual USB-C ports and one USB-A port. It also has a display that shows the device's charging behavior. You get the same premium metal casing and it costs $79.99. We got to check out this technology at CES 2026 and came away impressed. Most charging accessories aren't all that exciting anymore. And while they don't need to be, I'm all for updates that make them better in every single way when compared to previous-generation devices. Although there are other brands using this technology, they are much smaller brands that aren't really all that established. So, it's great to see an established brand like Belkin with a great track record adopting this new technology for its products. We can't wait to get our hands on more of this tech.
