Beefeater issues urgent warning to cash-in on loyalty points NOW ahead of 106 closures – exact deadline

BEEFEATER has urged customers to cash-in on loyalty points now before the closure of its 106 restaurants. The British pub-restaurant chain is set to permanently shut all its locations next month. The Reward Club saw customers collect five points on every £1 spent, which could be converted into money off or free food vouchers. In an email distributed to previous Beefeater diners and loyalty members, the pub-restaurant detailed how visitors can redeem their hard-earned points. Notably, customers must have accumulated points or submitted receipt details through their account by August 24 to be able to spend them. After this, members must also convert their points into vouchers to redeem them at the restaurants, then having until August 31 to spend them. At 7am on Tuesday, September 1, all points balances that have not been spent will be wiped from the loyalty website. Beefeater told customers that terms and conditions still apply for its loyalty points-based vouchers until the closure of the restaurants. Most read in Money The closure of Beefeater is part of a sweeping restructure by parent company Whitbread, which will also see both the Brewers Fayre and Bar + Block brands vanish. 89 Brewers Fayre locations are set to permanently close on September 7, with its loyalty scheme also ending on August 31. Whitbread has confirmed that a number of abandoned pubs are set to become Wetherspoons or Premier Inn hotels.
