Sign in to your XDA account The MacBook Pro is a beast of a laptop that can handle anything you throw at it. And that even includes AI if you're interested in running some powerful local LLMs. That said, it can be pricey, but right now we're seeing a steep $600 discount on the MacBook Pro 14-inch at Best Buy. This promotion drops the price from $3,199 to $2,599 for a limited time. It's not cheap, but it's also immensely powerful When it comes to the specifications, you're looking at an ultra-crisp 14.2-inch screen with Apple's ProMotion display technology with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. This model on sale features Apple's M5 Pro chip with an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU. It comes with 24GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage. As you can tell, this model is no slouch. It will easily handle daily work, web browsing, creative apps, editing, AI, and even gaming. With all that power, the laptop still delivers impressive battery life, with up to 24 hours of use on a single charge. Apple's Touch ID keeps it all secure, making it harder for someone to access your data. For ports, you get an Apple MagSafe charging port, three Thunderbolt 5 ports, HDMI, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. This is the top laptop we can recommend, unless you need to stick with Windows. I've been using a MacBook Pro for the past five years, and it has never let me down. Although some time has passed, it still easily gets everything done without breaking a sweat. So, I can only imagine what the one equipped with the M5 Pro can accomplish. It's not a cheap laptop by any means, but it's a fair price for what you're getting.
