The Bears added some depth to their offensive line on Tuesday. They announced that they have signed Wesley French to their 90-man roster. They waived safety Brandon Hill in a corresponding move. French signed with the Colts as an undrafted rookie in 2022 and played in every game for Indianapolis during the 2023 season. He spent 2024 on injured reserve and was on practice squads in Dallas and Cleveland last year. Hill signed with the Bears a few days ago. His departure comes on the same day that the Bears announced Coby Bryant will miss four to six months after knee surgery, so they may have another move in mind to bolster their safety options.
