Bears, D'Andre Swift agree to three-year contract extension

Bears running back D’Andre Swift will kick off the new season with a new contract. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Swift has agreed to a three-year contract extension in Chicago. The deal is worth $33.75 million and includes $27.5 million in guaranteed money. Swift’s new deal comes after Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, and Jonathan Taylor agreed to new deals over the summer. Swift joined the Bears in 2024 and has started 33 regular season games since coming to Chicago. He had 476 carries for 2,046 yards and 15 touchdowns while also catching 76 passes in those appearances. He added 32 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown in the postseason.
