BBC News and Panorama presenter gives birth to first child and shares sweet first snap

A BBC NEWS and Panorama presenter has given birth to her first child. Rianna Croxford, 32, has revealed she is now settling into life as a new mum, and shared her first sweet snap. As well as announcing her happy baby news, Rianna, who has been married to her husband since 2024, also revealed how her pregnancy had left her very unwell. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, enjoying the best chapter of life so far,” the new mum penned after a year off social media. “It’s also why I haven’t posted much in the past year. “I was signed off sick most of the time due to severe HG (extreme pregnancy sickness) and other complications, bringing you the occasional story, sometimes filing from hospital. “Very grateful to my family, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their support, who have shown up when we needed it.” Rianna shares her new baby with her husband, who she wed in 2024 Credit: Linkedin /@ rianna-croxford The happy couple are now a family of three Credit: instagram/@rianna_croxford Continuing, the proud mama wrote: “We’re beyond in love with our little bubba. “So for now I will be trading my laptop for endless snuggles and giggles, discovering mum and baby classes, and singing Disney songs. Most read in Showbiz “Unfortunately for my vocal chords, ‘Defying Gravity’ emerged as a favourite early on, along with any other songs by ‘Aunty Cynthia’ as we refer to her in this household.” Rianna’s followers rushed to share their new joy at her baby news, with one penning: “The most beautiful photo of an amazing mama! Make the most of every day.” Another added: “Congratulations! It’s the absolute best fun” After joining the Beeb in October 2020, Rianna has become a key member of their news team. The award-winning journalist has even worked for Panorama, and was part of an investigation into the Abercrombie boss’ sex trafficking and abuse allegations.
