Bay Village moves forward on Cahoon Park lakefront plan but funding gap remains
The plan to stabilize Cahoon Memorial Park’s eroding shoreline and expand public access to Lake Erie is moving closer to construction, but city officials say a funding gap remains. Consultant Jason T. Stangland, waterfront practice director at SmithGroup, during an April 20 presentation to City Council, said the city has secured nearly all the required state and federal approvals necessary for the project.
