Bawshar to host free medical camp featuring specialist doctors and health checks

Muscat: The Wali of Bawshar Office, in partnership with Badr Al Samaa Royal Hospital, will organise a free medical camp tomorrow (Wednesday) for citizens and residents. The camp will be held at the Majlis of Sheikh Hilal bin Ali Al Khalili Mosque in Bawshar from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This camp will offer various free medical consultations across several specialties, including General Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Dentistry, and Clinical Nutrition. The services will be delivered under the supervision of a team of qualified medical professionals. Visitors will have access to diverse free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, blood glucose testing, pulse rate measurement, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) assessment, and Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement. These services aim to support the early detection of a range of health conditions and promote a culture of preventive healthcare within the community. The camp will feature several complementary activities and benefits, including exclusive discounts on selected medical tests. Entertainment activities for children, such as face painting and colouring, will also be organised to create a welcoming family-friendly environment and encourage community participation.
