‘Bare’: First Look At ‘Bridgerton’ Star Florence Hunt In Coming-Of-Age Drama

EXCLUSIVE: Deadline can reveal the first look at Bare, the feature directorial debut from writer-director Lorna Tucker, starring Florence Hunt (Bridgerton) alongside Isla Fisher and Colin Firth. The ensemble cast also includes Sky Frances, Ruaridh Mollica, Séamus McLean Ross, Mirren Mack, Lewis Gribben, Tut Nyuot, Clay Russell, Umi Myers and Shane Walker, with a cameo from Fatboy Slim. Based on Tucker’s own memoir and lived experience, the project is described as “a coming-of-age survival story set on the streets of London. Hunt stars as Sophie, a young runaway who finds an unlikely chosen family as she searches for belonging and begins to reclaim her sense of self”. Pic is produced by Gillian Berrie, Savannah Power, Marcus Warren and Christian Moore, with Pia Patatian and Dimiter Nikolov executive-producing. Noora Films is handling worldwide sales and will be discussing the project at this week’s TIFF market. Watch on Deadline Tucker is best known for her BAFTA-nominated documentary Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist and Someone’s Daughter, Someone’s Son. Bare marks her move into narrative feature filmmaking. Hunt is best known for playing Hyacinth Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series.
