Barbadian trio advances to World Under-20 semis

Three Barbadians advanced to the semifinals of their respective events as the World Under-20 Athletics Championships continued in Oregon on Thursday. Running in Heat Eight, he clocked 51.74 seconds. In Wednesday’s evening session, Jayden Walcott was sixth in the final of the men’s shot put with a best effort of 19.27m. (KH)
