Bank of Baroda 1TB data leak: Here are your possible details now out in public

There is speculation online, fairly strong and seemingly sound, that around 1TB data belonging to Bank of Baroda has been leaked. Srikanth also claims that the exposed files include internal Bank of Baroda documents such as branch audit reports, loan appraisal documents, compliance records, vigilance investigation reports and customer application forms from multiple branches across the country. Meanwhile, there is no evidence so far that passwords, ATM PINs, UPI PINs or OTPs have been leaked.How does this impact Bank of Baroda customers?Even if login credentials are not part of the alleged leak, exposed personal and banking information could still be exploited by cybercriminals.One of the biggest risks is targeted phishing. Criminals with access to a customer's name, phone number, Aadhaar details or loan information could craft convincing SMS messages, emails or phone calls pretending to be from Bank of Baroda. These scams often attempt to trick customers into revealing passwords, OTPs or card details.Another concern is identity theft.
