If You Want A New Baldur's Gate 3 Challenge Run, This Weapon Was Only Used Four Times In Act 3 Across All Playthroughs Published Aug 5, 2026, 12:00 PM EDT Sign in to your TheGamer account Baldur’s Gate 3 has some built-in methods of upping the difficulty if you want a challenge. You can try an honour mode run, which makes combat extra hard and stops you from save-scumming. You could even try and beat the game solo, without recruiting a single companion for the whole campaign. But perhaps you’ve done these things, and want to get more creative. Well, have I got the perfect challenge for you. According to newly released player stats from Larian, there’s a joke weapon in Act 1 that everyone abandons long before Act 3: Poo-Scraper. According to the new Baldur’s Gate 3 stats, Poo-Scraper was used only 4 times in Act 3 across our playthroughs. I say it’s time we boost those numbers. Take On The Netherbrain With Poo Scraper, I Dare You Poo-Scraper is easy to miss. You can find it in the Apothecary's Cellar, located in the Blighted Village early on in Act 1. It’s not particularly strong, dealing 1d4 (plus strength or dexterity modifier) piercing damage, but you can also lob it at your foes as a ranged attack. Since it’s found so early on in the game, and isn’t much more than a joke weapon, most of us probably get rid of it pretty quickly - if we picked it up at all. However, according to Larian’s newly released player stats, Poo-Scraper has been used four entire times during Act 3 playthroughs. I am quite shocked it is that low, but I suppose there are a ridiculous amount of weapons in the game, and it’s not like this one is ever tempting to use. I commend those behind the four times Poo-Scraper was used in combat in Act 3, and I say we could all learn something from you. So, next run, make it your mission to go through all of Act 3 with Poo-Scraper. Have the bragging rights of saying you beat the game with what must be the least-used weapon in all of Faerûn. Let’s make sure the next player stats update from Larian really confuses and disturbs them. This isn’t all we learned from the player stats. As we previously reported, they revealed that Alfira is one of the most killed NPCs in the game - but is more likely to be killed by non-Dark Urges.
