Baldur’s Gate 3 Console Version Gets 15 More Pieces Of Content

Baldur’s Gate 3 Console Version Just Got A Custom Combat Creator Published Jul 20, 2026, 5:42 AM EDT Sam Woods is TheGamer’s Senior Reporter. He’s been in games journalism since 2020 and has undertaken a variety of roles in that time. These have included roles such as SEO Editor, Managing Editor at DualShockers, and Global Head of Gaming, and he's also been seen on the BBC. He was promoted to the Senior Reporter position in 2025 following a series of high-quality reports and exclusives for TheGamer. Since 2020, Sam has written over 2,500 articles and specializes in telling the stories of the people behind the games. He’s interviewed the biggest game directors, some of the industry’s top talents, told the stories of how indie games came to be, and spoken to players about what really makes them tick. He’s also interviewed some of the world’s biggest musical artists to find out how the medium has inspired their work, and TV and Film actors about their roles in video game adaptations. He even hosted a PAX panel in 2021 and made a documentary in 2024 surrounding the creation of a Disney game. Alongside this, Sam focuses on breaking news. He got the scoop on Perfect Dark’s cancellation, got context around some AI drama, and revealed how Lady Dimitrescu’s actress would love to step back into the character’s giant shoes. These articles have been picked up by the biggest gaming sites, including IGN, GameSpot, and PC Gamer. He also loves to dive into the numbers behind the games. Sam’s journey in games journalism has taken him all over the world. He’s covered Gamescom in Germany, Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles, and Tokyo Game Show in Japan, each on more than one occasion. He’s been learning Japanese since 2024 with the intention of identifying and translating Japanese-language news and bringing it to English-language audiences first, something he’s done countless times. Sam’s first review was 2020’s Battletoads reboot, and he’s since reviewed games in The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, and Pokemon franchises. After a mammoth, record-breaking wait, in which Larian kept Baldur's Gate 3 console players waiting three weeks for a new content drop, we've just got our second in under a week. Last week, 10 new additions dropped, including additional dynamic encounters based on player choices and a Witch Elf subrace, and now, we've just got 15 more, headlined by another new subclass. Larian Officially Vets And Approves 15 New Pieces Of Baldur's Gate 3 Console Content Larian PC players have a wealth of additional content for Baldur's Gate 3. In fact, there are currently over 18,500 pieces of content on Nexus Mods alone. The total on mod.io sits at over 8,000. Unfortunately for console players, many of these aren't available to them because Larian has to vet, approve, and upload them to the PS5 and Xbox versions of the game. That process takes time, which is almost certainly the reason these drops have become so sporadic this year. Especially now that it is hard at work on its next title, Divinity. Things have sped along a little with new content drops, following 10 last week, and now 15 more, and we have them all right here for you: Remove Broken Objects (Spell) - Adds a spell which has a target radius of 18m and an area radius of 9m, and it costs nothing to cast. Every broken object in the area will be removed. Wrongway Elemental Clothes - Adds 60 new elemental-themed clothing options. Wet Sleet Storm - Sleet storms now add the wet status. Wyll's Devil Bonuses - After Wyll's transformation, he will gain the base passives that fiends/cambions have, including Darkvision, Fiendish Blessing, and Hellish Resistance. Pact of the Heart and Additional Invocations - Adds a new Warlock Pact – in the vein of Blade, Chain, and Tome – that allows you to sacrifice your current hitpoints to either gain temporary HP or deal additional damage with your spells. Female Planar Ally - Changes the summons of the Planar Ally spell to female variants, including the Cambion summoned through Wild Magic. Poesielibre's Whimsical Hair Colors - Adds 75 non-natural hair colors to CC. Spellfire Sorcery: Sorcerer Subclass (ENG-KOR) - Add the Spellfire Sorcery - Sorcerer subclass from Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn Campaign. A Nice Simple Hug: Longer Hug For Astarion - Extends the hug in Astarion's Act 2 romance scene. Infinite Combat: Create Your Own Encounters And Zombies - Allows you to craft your own combat encounters with a wide range of enemies. Camp Activities (Fixed) - Makes your campers a bit more active. They wander, perform, and act on their own. Such a Distinguished Gentleman - Adds 16 gentlemanly poses. Endgame Lae'zel Has Githyanki Egg - Auto-sends Gith egg to Lae'zel in endgame if your party has it in its possession. Merry's Simone - Adds a standalone BT1 preset for Elves, Tieflings, and Humans. Ordinary Maid Dress - Adds a maid dress to make your character look like a pretty little maid. Much like last week's selection, the new subclass takes a backseat for a QOL addition. The Infinite Combat mod seems like a game-changer. It not only allows you to craft custom combat scenarios but also helps you learn all the tricks certain enemies use. I'm a big fan of this.
