A baby is missing off the coast of South Australia after the bodies of a mother and her toddler were pulled from the ocean.Emergency services were called to the state’s southernmost coastal town, Port Macdonnell, at about 11.15am on Monday after a car was found with its engine running.Sign up for the Breaking News Australia emailOfficers launched a search and found two bodies in the ocean a short time later.They have been identified as a 36-year-old woman from Compton, near Mount Gambier, and her toddler.Crews are searching for a missing infant.“Police have grave concerns for the child’s safety,” a South Australia police spokesperson said.Detectives and forensic specialists are travelling to the scene.Police are urging anyone who may have seen a white Isuzu MUX, registration S592BJR, to contact Crime Stoppers.
