THIS is the embarrassing moment a footballer’s unveiling was ruined when he was snubbed by his girlfriend after leaning in for a kiss. The marksman, 23, was joined by his girlfriend Antonela Ciavaglia for snaps as soon as he had put pen-to-paper. And the Uruguayan model left Rodriguez hanging as he went to kiss her in front of the photographers. Ciavaglia quickly dashed off, leaving the former Sunderland target sheepishly touching his hair as he hoped the gaffe had not been spotted. But, in a huge blow for Rodriguez, footage of the incident has gone viral after being uploaded onto social media. Ciavaglia has been forced to deny there is a rift between them and insisted she rushed away because of feeling nervous. There was no disrespect or anything like what they are trying to make it seem like.” Ciavaglia has been dubbed the Uruguayan Kim Kardashian after amassing more than 170,000 followers across her social media platforms. And Rodriguez has linked up with two former Premier League stars following his move. Luis Sinisterra, who joined Leeds in a £25million deal four years ago, is now on Cruzeiro’s books after arriving from Bournemouth. Ex-West Brom talisman Matheus Pereira is also among Rodriguez’s new team-mates. Cruzeiro are fifth in the Brazilian top-flight – sitting 15 points adrift of table-topping Palmeiras.
