Average San Diego County gas price continues to rise

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Monday for the 33rd time in 34 days, increasing seven-tenths of a cents to $6.224, its highest amount since Oct. 2, 2023. The average price has increased 54.2 cents over the past 34 days, including 1.8 cents Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
