Avengers: Doomsday Adidas T-Shirt Includes A Massive Cast Spoiler

Avengers Fans Have Spotted An Unrevealed Hero Hiding In New Doomsday Merch Marvel/Disney Published Oct 5, 2026, 4:30 AM EDT Josh Coulson is an editor at TheGamer covering breaking news on everything from colorful platformers to the latest Lego sets. Primarily a news writer since 2018, Josh has covered just about every major game from the past decade. Now an editor, their focus has shifted to being the leading affiliate expert at the site, building relationships between TheGamer and global brands including Mattel, Funko, and The Pokemon Company. We are on the highway to Doomsday, as merch for the new Avengers movie has started dropping ahead of its theatrical release this December. Unfortunately, as is often the case for blockbuster movies in established worlds that promise big surprises, that merch has spoiled the reveal of a major character before they’ve been officially introduced. If you don’t want to know who that character is, this is your last chance to stop reading, look away, and try to avoid seeing or hearing about it until December 18. Adidas Doomsday Merch Includes An Unrevealed Character Marvel/Disney Alongside Funko Pops and Lego sets, Adidas has revealed a merch line that, since it’s Adidas, is largely focused on sneakers themed after Doctor Doom and other characters who will star in Doomsday. However, the collection also includes a T-shirt, and it's there that Avengers fans have spotted the spoiler. The T-shirt’s design features Doom’s hand scratching down the chest, tearing through reality to show comic book versions of various Marvel heroes inside. Thor, Thing, and Beast are all among those you can see through Doom’s claw marks. All three have been officially confirmed to have roles in Doomsday. Deadpool, on the other hand, has not been officially confirmed to be a part of Doomsday. However, if you look very closely at those claw marks, you’ll see that The Merc with a Mouth is seemingly being punished along with all of the other Marvel characters. Even though these are the comic book designs of those characters, not the movie versions, since this is official Doomsday merch, the takeaway is that the T-shirt has accidentally revealed Deadpool will be a part of the upcoming Avengers movie. Will Deadpool Be In Doomsday? via energy106.ca He’s small, but he’s there, and you have to think Deadpool will have a role to play in Doomsday; otherwise, putting him on merch is incredibly risky business. Risky in that it’s promising something that isn’t going to happen if he’s not in the movie, but also turns out it was risky because that merch is now out there spoiling potentially pretty major plot points. There’s an argument to be made that it was already pretty obvious Deadpool will be in Doomsday. Ryan Reynolds showed up to a Doomsday panel earlier this year in full costume. Even then, though, there was no mention of whether Deadpool will be in Doomsday or not, that was an indication to many that he almost certainly will be. Deadpool’s inclusion on Doomsday merch has reignited the conversation regarding how exactly the character can be included in a movie for families when all of his films so far have been R-rated. The best theory I’ve heard so far is that, since Deadpool is self-aware and regularly breaks the fourth wall, he can recognize that he’s not allowed to swear or be overly violent on-screen and adhere to the rules since he so desperately wants to fight alongside the Avengers. Perhaps we’ll also see why Thor was holding him in his arms, crying, via the scene teased in Deadpool & Wolverine. I have a hunch that won’t be explained until Secret Wars, though. Release Date December 18, 2026 Runtime 165 Minutes Director Anthony Russo, Joe Russo Cast Robert Downey Jr. Victor von Doom Pedro Pascal Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic Vanessa Kirby Sue Storm / Invisible Woman
