This will lead to higher costs in the United States and undermine the trading relationship that we have with our US friends.”The prime minister also called for an end to the Iran war, which has led to higher energy prices and questions over fuel supply in Australia. The government will make an announcement on fuel in the coming days or weeks, Albanese said, without providing further details.“We have said consistently we want to see a de-escalation, we want to see an end to the conflict,” he said. “We want to see the Strait of Hormuz opened without fees going through because that would undermine international trade.”This advertisement has not loaded yet.Notice for the Postmedia NetworkThis website uses cookies to personalize your content (including ads), and allows us to analyze our traffic.
