Audrey Hobert stopped by the NPR office to perform her first-ever Tiny Desk Concert. Hobert ran through a selection of tracks from her 2025 album Who’s the Clown?. She kicked things off with “Shooting Star,” a shuffling, quickfire single, and followed it up with “Thirst Trap.” Before running through the Friends-referencing “Phoebe,” Hobert joked, “I’ve seen all but one and a half seasons. I saw what I needed to see, got what I needed, and I wrote the song.” Get Audrey Hobert Tickets Here She kept the set going with a rendition of “Sex and the City,” followed by her breakout track “Sue Me.” Before playing the latter, Hobert said, “Sometimes when you’re a burgeoning artist, you have one hit… I would classify this as a hit.” It’s easy to see why the song has caught on, with Hobert’s signature charm, pinpoint delivery, and clever lyrics on display.
