Audio: Bishnoi aide speaks on Tiger Shroff shooting, says sabka number aayega

A man identifying himself as gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's aide has threatened to kill anybody who associates themselves with actor Salman Khan. In an audio clip that surfaced on Monday, the man, who identified himself as Anil Pandit, claimed responsibility for Sunday evening’s assassination attempt on actor Tiger Shroff. In the audio, Anil Pandit is heard saying that Tiger Shroff had been warned against working with Salman Khan, suggesting that as the motive for Sunday’s attempted attack. The multi-national Bishnoi gang has had a long-standing feud with Salman Khan over allegations that the actor had hunted and killed two blackbucks in Rajasthan in the late 1980s. The Bishnoi community holds the blackbuck, also known as the Indian antelope, as sacred. The audio clip also contains a chilling "sabka number aayega (everyone will have their turn)" warning, directed at those who speak against Bishnoi in order to "gain fame." It appeared to reiterate the claims made in an earlier social media post. "Whoever will work separately from us in the film industry, or will work with Salman Khan, we will kill him," the speaker is heard saying in the audio clip. The man heard in the audio also demanded that Salman Khan apologise to Lawrence Bishnoi and the entire Bishnoi community over the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, warning him of dire consequences if he failed to do so. The police were yet to verify the authenticity of the audio clip and the social media post. The firing incident targeting Shroff took place in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening. The chain of events leading to the incident is being pieced together, a police official said.According to the police, Shroff's driver and another driver of an autorickshaw were injured in the incident, police said.- Ends(With inputs from agencies)
