Attack on Titan came to an epic conclusion back in November 2023, and since then, fans have been trying to chase the high created by what many consider to be one of the greatest anime series of all time. First created by Hajime Isayama back in 2009, the story follows the last bastion of humanity who find themselves living within towering walls in order to keep themselves protected from the giant humanoid creatures outside known as Titans. With the anime airing back in 2013 and running until 2023, we get to experience the journey of Eren Jaeger, a young boy who is determined to bring the end of Titans once and for all. Now, as one of the best-selling manga series of all time, yet having an anime series that concluded almost three years ago, it is no wonder that fans are eager for more of the Attack on Titan world. Whilst they wait for the upcoming launch of Attack on Titan 3, the third video game installment in the Koei Tecmo series, there is another exciting release to look forward to. As some eagle-eyed readers may notice, the name of the upcoming board game, which unfortunately does not yet have a release date, could refer to the fact that it will be the first entry in a long-running series. Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game: Season 1 could mean that other seasons will be released in the future, whether this means offering brand-new boards, or simply "expansions" adding new cards and characters to the game. At the time of writing, this has not been confirmed, and neither has that aforementioned release date. For now, however, you can pre-order Attack on Titan Deck-Building Game: Season 1 and be ready to save humanity yourself alongside the likes of Eren, Mikasa, Levi, and more.
