KARACHI: At least one person died on Thursday after heavy rain lashed Karachi, prompting authorities to declare an emergency. Rescue-1122 spokesperson Hassaan Ul Haseeb Khan told Dawn that heavy rains adversely affected the structure of a three-storey building near Bismillah Hotel in Pak Colony.
