AT least one person has been killed and 15 others injured after a car rammed into a crowd at a pride parade in Berlin, police said. Berlin police said: “Shortly before 10 p.m., the driver of a white vehicle is said to have struck several people. “There are numerous injured, including several with life-threatening injuries.” Crowds had filled the streets for the annual Christopher Street Day pride event. Injured people are being treated by emergency services at the scene. Witnesses told Bild that a vehicule rammed into revellers at speed. Hundreds and thousands of people had flocked to Berlin to join the one of Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ celebrations. One witness told Bild a white van had plowed into the crowd. Berlin cops said: “We believe that a vehicle entered the Tiergarten park and hit several people and injured them.” Police cordoned off the area as they searched for the suspected attacker.
