ASTON VILLA suffered a nightmare start to the Premier League season after conceding FOUR goals in their opening 30 minutes. Maxim De Cuyper added a second 10 minutes later to put the hosts in control. And Jack Hinshelwood put the home fans in dreamland as he added two more goals in as many minutes to make it 4-0. The latter of those goals came as the Brighton academy graduate capitalised on a loose bit of play from Prem debutant Joao Gomes to steal the ball in the box and tuck an effort home. And if that wasn’t already a rough start to life in his new colours, he was sent off in the 40th minute to compound Emery’s issues. The Brazilian midfielder was deemed to have kicked out at an opposition player from the floor after a brief VAR check. He was then given his marching orders, huffing as he exited the field just 40 minutes into one of the worst Prem debuts on record.
