Mirko Radunovic from Podgorica planned to organise and monitor his gym training sessions by registering on a mobile fitness app. Knowing the app's purpose, he did not find it off when it asked him to enter information about his age, health and exercise habits. “I entered information about my age, health, nutrition and life habits, to create an appropriate training plan. After some time, I started receiving advertisements for fitness equipment and supplements,” Radunovic told BIRN. “When the app suggested that I add progress photos, I stopped using it.
