As PM forgives students who abused him, CJP's Abhijeet Dipke has a question

On Friday, as PM Modi took to Instagram for the fifth time in a week to say he had forgiven the students who used abusive language against him during the protests, Dipke asked whether the government would also withdraw the cases filed against the protesters."Sirf reel par hi maaf karoge ya cases bhi vapas loge? (Will you forgive them only in a reel, or will you also withdraw the cases)" Dipke commented on PM Modi's Instagram video. In his latest video on Instagram, PM Modi's platform of choice to reach out to Gen Z, he spoke about the outrage over the viral videos that show abusive and objectionable remarks being made against him.The video came amid controversy over a teen from Noida being booked for making abusive remarks against the Prime Minister during the student protests at Jantar Mantar. The sustained protests over exam paper leaks and irregularities in the education system eventually led to the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan."Some youngsters hurled crude abuses. Words were used that do not befit a civilised society. I was personally abused, and even my late mother was subjected to vile insults," PM Modi said in his late-night video. "Abuses never solve anything. Punishing them, dragging them through court proceedings, or harassing them - none of this will change the situation. I wish to forgive them... Let's guide the misguided," the Prime Minister further said.On Thursday, PM Modi released a similar selfie-style video hailing the passage of the amended anti-paper leak bill, which sets out stricter punishments for those involved in exam paper leaks.
