As gas plants rise to power AI, renewable energy allies are fighting for cleaner alternatives

With the rise of gas-powered plants to fuel AI and data centers, renewable energy advocates are pushing for greener alternatives to ensure these facilities don't contribute to climate change. This push is crucial as data centers consume vast amounts of electricity, often relying on fossil fuels, which significantly increases carbon emissions. The stakes are high because the tech industry's growth could either bolster or hinder global efforts to combat climate change, making this a pivotal battle for the future of clean energy.
