ARSENAL have reportedly made a shock enquiry for Iliman Ndiaye – and could hijack his move to bitter rivals Tottenham. Spurs have been in advanced talks for the Everton attacker and were expected to welcome him to North London, with Richarlison heading in the other direction in a separate deal. The move is still subject to a personal terms agreement, which leaves the door ajar for rival suitors. And according to Senegalese outlet Taggat, Arsenal have thrown a spanner in the works. The report states that the Gunners have reached out to understand Ndiaye’s situation, and may try to lure him to the Emirates. Arsenal have sold forwards Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli to Barcelona and Al-Hilal respectively. And they have been in the market for a new attacker all summer – missing out on the likes of Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Jr. The Gunners’ latest big-name target, Julian Alvarez, has his heart set on Barcelona.
