Arsenal loan watch: Nwaneri off to perfect star at Dortmund as Tommy Setford kicks off Stevenage loan with 5-1 win

ARSENAL continued their perfect start to the new season by beating Chelsea on Sunday. But away from the Emirates, there were also some impressive performances by the Gunners players out on loan. He helped Dortmund come back from two goals down and it was the teenager’s cross that Hoffenheim defender Albian Hajdari turned into his own net to complete the comeback with four minutes to spare. Dortmund boss Niko Kovac said: “He (Nwaneri) could solve problems on a man-for-man basis and radiate calmness on the ball. “He had that little bit of luck [on the own goal], but he worked hard for it. We signed him because we’re convinced he has top qualities. He proved that and we hope he’ll continue to prove it in the coming weeks.” Tommy Setford The goalkeeper kicked off his time at Stevenage with a thumping 5-1 win away to fellow League One side Barnsley. Tommy Setford was only beaten by a Cameron McGeehan penalty in the 17th minute, with the midfielder sending the Arsenal youngster the wrong way to find the net. Ismael Kabia The winger started for the fourth time in a row since joining St Mirren last month on a season-long loan.
