The well-to-do supporters who do buy a ticket don’t just get to head down to the pitch pre-match, but are also treated to a host of other amenities. Fans are welcomed to the stadium with a glass of champagne before getting access to a fully inclusive drinks package. They also get the chance to meet an Arsenal legend before kick-off, as well as having a luxury dining experience. If that wasn’t enough, fans are sent home with a commemorative Arsenal gift to remember the occasion. The supporters are hosted in the Touchline Club, which is actually located where the old players lounge was at the Emirates Stadium. But Odegaard, 27, shunned the chance to go on a jet-setting break and instead headed back to his homeland. The midfielder and his wife, Helene, have a summer cabin there that is located near a fjord and rolling hills. Odegaard used it as an opportunity to have a complete reset after a season where he battled knee and shoulder injuries. The Norwegian spent time with his wife and child, along with other members of his extended family during a quiet break. Odegaard, however, worked on his fitness at the same time and had access to the facilities at a nearby school. The plan has worked wonders and the playmaker has made an electric start to the new campaign. He has scored in both of Arsenal’s opening two games and manager Mikel Arteta is backing him to have a big impact this term. The Gunners gaffer received the one-of-one ring as a gift from fan outlet Eighteen86, made by jewellers Bazanetti. The nine-karat gold ring is embossed with the Premier League trophy and the word “Champion.” It also features the phrase “wildest dreams become reality” and has an engraving of Arteta’s iconic “passion, clarity and energy” drawing from the Amazon Prime documentary. The new package is on sale via the company Seat Unique – who are the club’s official agent for Club Level seating. It offers customers a private or shared 30-seater executive box on the halfway line at the Emirates. Tickets for next week’s huge clash with Chelsea are currently available at a cost of £1,499 per person. That brings with it plenty of perks, though, including armchair padded and heated seats directly outside the box. Guests are greeted with champagne on arrival and the bubbles keep on flowing throughout the entire match. Complimentary spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks are also on offer. A five-course food menu is on offer and there are two large televisions in the box to keep track of the other games. Half-time and post-match refreshments are served and each guest gets a personalised match-day programme and team sheet. Tim Lewis, formerly Arsenal’s executive vice-chair, was in attendance for the 3-0 win over Coventry. He left the club last September as part of a reshuffle at boardroom level – which included Richard Garlick becoming the new CEO. Lewis is a big Arsenal fan and played a key role in their rise under Arteta, which culminated in them winning the title last season. He has been spotted at various Premier League stadia since leaving his post and was at the Vitality in May when Manchester City’s draw with Bournemouth led to the Gunners being crowned champions. The Greek winger, who signed for £34m from Club Brugge this summer, has admitted to captaining himself in his FPL team and using it as motivation to help the team. Speaking at Club Brugge’s game against Cercle Brugge last week, Tzolis said: “I got three points for the assist, one point for the clean sheet, and two points because of the amount of minutes, so six points. And I had myself as captain!” Tzolis previously revealed he used the technique to motivate him during his time in the Belgian league. And it is clearly working, Tzolis has registered 25 goals and assists in his last 16 competitive games for Brugge and Arsenal.
