But that hasn’t put Arsenal off and the Gunners are weighing up a move for the youngster in January, as reported by Football.London. Mikel Arteta‘s side were chasing a new forward in the summer window amid speculation they could sign Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez or Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr. The club weren’t able to finalise a move for either player while Viktor Gyokeres stayed at the club despite being linked with an exit. And Arsenal still allowed a number of attacking players to leave, including Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli. The Gunners did bring in Greek star Christos Tzolis as a replacement, but could still do with more attacking options. The report says Kroupi could be an option but adds that his value could “skyrocket” in January. They were tipped for an £85m bid before Kroupi’s injury and they opted to sign Man City star Omar Marmoush instead. If Arsenal can’t get a deal for Kroupi over the line, they do have alternative options, the report adds. Brentford star Kevin Schade is another potential candidate for a January move, it goes on to say. Schade has enjoyed a superb start to the season with the Bees after scoring three goals in the first four games. That included a brace in Brentford’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last time out. Arsenal’s current top scorer this season is Bukayo Saka with three. Comment now
