The Indian Army and PIB Fact Check clarified that the purported statement was entirely fabricated and that the original video had been digitally manipulated using fake audio and misleading captions.Another doctored video falsely attributed remarks related to the protests to former Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. PIB Fact Check also debunked an AI-manipulated video that falsely showed Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh commenting on the Delhi protests, confirming that the original footage had been altered with AI-generated audio.FALSE CLAIMS ON ARMY DEPLOYMENT, PROTEST DEATHSAuthorities have also rejected viral claims that Army personnel have been deployed against protesters in Delhi or have used force on civilians.
