Public opinion polls fielded and released this summer showed a by-now-familiar partisan gap in views on the Supreme Court. Republicans are not only more likely than Democrats to approve of the way the court handles its job (74 percent vs. 22 percent, according to the Marquette Law School Poll); they’re also less likely than Democrats to say the court has too much power or that it has given the president too much authority. Prior to joining the company in 2025, she was assistant managing editor and religion reporter for the Deseret News. When Kelsey is not writing and editing pieces, she is probably reading a book, playing hide and seek with her two boys, or watching reality TV. More We Think You’d Like
