Users enrolled in Apple’s public beta program can now install macOS 27 Golden Gate public beta 3. Here’s what’s new in the system. macOS 27 Golden Gate public beta 3 now available After yesterday’s release of macOS 27 Golden Gate beta 5 for developers, Apple is now rolling out that same version as the system’s third public beta. Yesterday’s beta didn’t include any major new features, but it did revamp several icons, including Siri, Activity Monitor, Safari, the App Store, and Chess. macOS 27 Golden Gate introduces the new Siri app, alongside the revamped Siri AI assistant. It also features prompt-based Shortcuts and Safari extensions creation, and allows users to control the Liquid Glass intensity with a slider during setup, or in System Settings. The update also standardizes corner radii across windows and apps, addressing a common complaint about macOS Tahoe 26. Apps and windows now use the same fixed radius, rather than adjusting it based on the items in the title bar. The release build for macOS 27 Golden Gate public beta 3 is 26A5406e, which is the same as the current developer build.
