Interestingly, between the two of them, they have a similar in-hand feel as both sport 6.3-inch AMOLED screens, weigh almost the same, and have very similar dimensions too. If you have trypophobia, the iPhone will probably trigger it.The iPhone has superior camera hardware with higher resolution overall. Variable-aperture is the biggest upgrade on the iPhone 18 series, allowing users to have granular control over the aperture and depth of field. Low-light photography has also improved.On the Android side of things, the Pixel 11 has a new main camera compared to the Pixel 10, but overall the camera hardware is largely unchanged. Apple focuses on a more shut-off, locked in ecosystem that does not play nice with third-party peripherals, and that flows into the software, restricting customization.Meanwhile, Android is a lot more open, and the Pixel UI is arguably one of the purest, most useful and fun versions of the Android experience. And, of course, Pixel users get access to a significantly more open and wider range of accessories.At the end of the day, Apple might have introduced a ton of useful "new" features with the iPhone 18 Pro, but the truth is, most Android devices have had these features for years. You still get triple cameras, all-day battery, spectacular software, and seven years of OS and security upgrades, all for $300 cheaper than the iPhone 18 Pro.Admittedly, the iPhone 18 Pro may beat the Pixel 11 at photography and videography, as well as heavy gaming, but this in no way means that the Pixel can't stand on its own. You can still game on it, though the phone might need a few breaks. Not to mention, the Pixel's cameras blow us away every time.In the entry-level flagship segment, the Pixel 11 delivers better value overall. The best of GoogleSave yourself $300 and a lot more money you would've had to spend on "official" Apple accessories by getting the Pixel 11. It's a similar size, excels at photography, and lasts all day long. The camera might not be able to beat the iPhone 18 Pro, but it definitely is worth every penny and shines in its own right.
