Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Y.S. Sharmila has constituted a 10-member monitoring committee to oversee and coordinate the party’s preparations for the forthcoming local body elections in the State.In a statement on Friday, Ms. Sharmila said the committee would be headed by Congress Working Committee (CWC) member N. Raghuveera Reddy. APCC working president J.D. Seelam would be its convener. The committee comprises CWC member Gidugu Rudraraju, former Union Ministers M.M. Pallam Raju and Killi Krupa Rani, APCC working president Shaik Mastan Vali, APCC Media Committee chairman N. Thulasi Reddy and AICC members Sirivella Prasad and Gara Usha Naidu. APCC spokesperson and Nellore DCC president N. Kiran Kumar Reddy was appointed as PCC Coordination and Social Media Coordinator for the elections.Ms. Sharmila said the committee would monitor and coordinate the party’s preparations for the elections and work in close coordination with the APCC leadership, District Congress Committees, City Congress Committees and local party units.
