Anti-ICE protests in Austin, portrayed as organic, were coordinated by communist groups: Joe Concha

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha said the anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protests in Austin, Texas, were pushed by left-wing groups.“These protests are designed to look organic; it’s anything but,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox and Friends on Tuesday. “It’s all done through social media, it’s done through images created by AI, and now here is the result.”According to a Fox News Digital investigation, what may have appeared as a “spontaneous” anti-ICE rally was actually a coordinated effort by left-wing groups, including the Democratic Socialists of America, the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation. The protests were organized after a Venezuelan man was shot in an incident involving an ICE officer Sunday. He was reportedly later interrogated with the bullet still in his back. The man who was shot is an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who had a final order of removal, the Department of Homeland Security said on X.Concha said awareness of the protests that followed the shooting was being pushed on two fronts. “The first is on social media, obviously, which is cheap and easy.
