Anthony Joshua reunites with trainer Ben Davison for Tyson Fury fight as coach knows Gypsy King ‘extremely well’

ANTHONY JOSHUA has reunited with trainer Ben Davison ahead of his fight with Tyson Fury. AJ has been pictured in Davison’s Harlow gym in recent weeks despite having his last two bouts with Oleksandr Usyk’s team. He said: “I think in some capacity he’ll stay close to them. I think he respects Ben a lot. “Obviously, there’s probably a feeling that Ben Davison knows Tyson Fury extremely well. “I don’t know AJ’s final decision to where he’s going to locate his training camp, but Ben Davison will definitely be involved in that camp and that process.” Davison burst onto the scene in 2018 when he helped Fury return following a battle with depression and substance abuse. He took the Gypsy King from 30st no-hope to world title challenger following a draw with Deontay Wilder. But before their 2020 rematch, Fury dropped Davison for American Sugarhill Steward, who guided him to two wins over Wilder.
