Gordon‘s arrival ended the Blaugrana’s interest in signing Marcus Rashford on a permanent transfer last summer. Rashford enjoyed a successful loan stint with the Catalan giants last season that saw him amassing a total of 14 goals and 15 assists in 49 appearances. However, Barcelona opted against triggering the versatile forward’s £26m option to buy him from Manchester United.
