Andy Cohen Reacts to Julia Stiles Calling Him Out on ‘Dancing With the Stars’Andy Cohen is loving what he's watching happen at home. Nearly five months after going public with his romance with businessman Kevin Sobieski, the Watch What Happens Live host shed light on his boyfriend’s bond with his kids Ben, 7, and Lucy, 4. “Just watching them gather information, they're so smart,” Cohen shared during the “Ask Andy” panel at Bravo Fan Fest Oct. 24 when asked how his kids warm his heart. “I have to say, watching them react to my boyfriend has been this incredible journey for us as a family.” After revealing his romance with Sobieski in June, the Bravo mainstay confirmed he had introduced his boyfriend to his kids, but shared the couple didn’t rush the process. “He loves my children,” Cohen explained on the June 8 episode of his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live, “and they love him and I love him.” “We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other and introducing him to the kids,” he continued, “and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly.”And while Cohen and Sobieski hard-launched their romance on Instagram in July, the 58-year-old shared they met a year prior at a Fourth of July party. “It was 11 months ago and I saw him from across the party,” he recalled on his show. "I almost didn't go and I dragged myself out. I never get invited to gay parties in the Hamptons anymore. I was like, 'You know what? Let me just go.’” But after seeing Sobieski, he realized, “I got to talk to this guy. Who is this guy?” And the pair hit it off. After all, Cohen shared that he and Sobieski “talked all night.” Looking back, the TV personality emphasized that he knew there would be a sign when he met someone special.Instagram/Andy Cohen“People have asked me for a long time, 'When are you going to get a boyfriend? Why don't you have a boyfriend?” Cohen shared. “And I have always said, 'I will know when I meet the person.’” “It's always been a feeling for me,” he added, “and I am really happy to say that I met the person you guys.” And Cohen believes his connection with Sobieski was written in the stars. “I think definitely things happen at the right time and I don’t know that I was in a place to receive him until I did,” he told E!
