The brothers were arrested in Miami in late July after the UK asked for their extradition on 59 charges relating to seven women. Romanian prosecutors have now formally charged the pair, claiming they gained more than 1.25 million US dollars through sexually exploiting a victim they recruited at the age of 15. She was allegedly abused in the UK and Romania by Andrew, who prosecutors say misled her about his intention to start a relationship. They claim he threatened her using emotional blackmail and physical aggression and kept her in a building Luton for the purposes of sexual exploitation. He then allegedly forced her to produce pornographic material and transported her from the UK to Romania. Tristan is accused of helping his brother to exploit the teen. Most read in The Sun The brothers’ Romanian lawyer Eugen Constantin Vidineac said: “Today’s decision by DIICOT does not determine guilt and it should not be presented as though it does.” He said the pair reject the charges, adding: “The previous indictment was subjected to judicial scrutiny and the court identified significant irregularities which prevented the case from moving forward to trial.” They are fighting the extradition to the UK, where both brothers face several charges. A total of 11 new counts were added to their charge sheet in July, relating to the alleged sexual abuse of four additional women in Britain between July 2010 and August 2017. They already faced 21 charges between them relating to three alleged victims, so will now be prosecuted for 59 allegations relating to seven women. Self-styled misogynist Andrew, 39, faces 32 further counts, including seven rape charges and 19 involving extreme pornography and indecent images of children. Tristan, 38, faces six more, including two rape and sex-trafficking charges. The brothers have previously denied any wrongdoing.
