The two artists first linked on “RNP,” from Cordae’s 2019 debut The Lost Boy, and have remained frequent collaborators. Now they’ve joined forces once again—this time for a whole album. Heavy Is the Crown drops October 23 via Apeshit/Mass Appeal/Empire. Below, check out the project’s cover art, apparently inspired by, of all things, the 2008 Will Ferrell / John C. Reilly comedy Step Brothers.Cordae’s last album, The Crossroads, came out in 2024.
