Anahat Singh ready for senior leap, with Asian Games and Olympics in focus

Fresh from becoming the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championship, Anahat Singh has already set her sights on the next big challenge, with the Asian Games and Los Angeles 2028 Olympics in focus. The teenager knows the next two years will be crucial as she makes the transition to senior squash and looks to secure her place at the Olympics. For Anahat, reaching the Olympic stage has always been a dream, and she now sees the Asian Games as her first opportunity to move closer to that goal. Winning gold at the Asian Games would also give her a direct route to LA 2028, although she is aware that there are other qualification pathways if that does not happen. Rather than looking too far ahead, Anahat wants to approach the journey one step at a time. She also believes that if she does make it to the Olympics, she will give everything she has to challenge for a medal, which would be the biggest achievement of her young career.
