An American and an Israeli passenger, both traveling from Manila to Cebu in the Philippines, brawled across a gate after the American reportedly mocked the Israeli’s Jewish faith, called him a “baby killer,” praised Hitler and lamented that more Jews hadn’t been killed. Roughly two out of every three European Jews during World War II, which was more than a third of Jews worldwide. 88% of Jews in Poland were killed. Both men were detained, taken to a hospital and sent for prosecution. The fight occurred on Thursday, August 6, in the domestic departure area of Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport. According to local reporting, the Israeli passsenger overheard the American making antisemitic remarks. Witnesses say he was mocking the man’s Jewish faith. The American defends his actions, saying he was having a ‘private conversation’. An Israeli man and an American man reportedly got into a physical altercation at an airport in Manila, Philippines. According to reports, the American man told the visibly Jewish Israeli, “Baby killer… Hitler was right. Too bad Hitler didn’t finish the job.” pic.twitter.com/9bhrkPAJ4X — Open Source Intel (@Osint613) August 8, 2026 Both men were detained by airport police and taken to Pasay General Hospital. The following day the case was referred to the Pasay City Prosecutor for “alarms and scandals.” That’s a prosecutor’s review following a warrantless arrest. This wasn’t about ‘Gaza’ or ‘the Netanyahu government’. Telling a Jewish passenger that Hitler was right, and calling someone a “baby killer” because of their nationality rather than their actions, isn’t ‘political criticism’. Wishing that even more Jews had been exterminated reveals what this is (frankly, usually) about. Standing up to that seems morally right, but helpful to no one. It doesn’t change the idiot’s mind. It kept the Israeli from going to Cebu. And it’s not legal justification. This was also the second reported “baby killer” confrontation involving an Israeli visitor in the Philippines in three days. An Spanish tourist confronted an Israeli at a cafe on Siargao Island on August 3. Topics on this page
