Amelia Dimoldenberg is officially ending her longest relationship. The media personality announced that her fan-favorite web series, Chicken Shop Date, is officially ending after 12 years with a heartfelt handwritten note on her social media profiles.“When I was 17, I had a fantastic idea that I might meet the love of my life in a chicken shop,” she penned on Thursday, September 3. “I have spent my entire twenties sat across from the most incredible people, people I’d always dreamt of meeting. All of them have charmed me (some more than others) and I have definitely charmed them.”She continued, “To me, the show is my very own romcom and I have loved creating so many stories for you to watch. I am so grateful to everyone who has followed me on this journey and found some joy in the episodes.”Later in the letter, she admitted that she “never thought” she’d stop filming the show, which she first launched as a written Q&A in 2014.“I thought maybe it would be part of me forever, and in some way, it always will be, but I feel like way it’s now time for me to move on from this adventure and onto a new one,” she shared, adding that she will celebrate the show with new dates before saying “goodbye forever.”She teased the end of the show with a clip shared the day before her official announcement, where she sat at her famous chicken shop and said, “We need to talk.”Over the years, Amelia created unforgettable viral moments with guests like Andrew Garfield, Jack Harlow, Keke Palmer, and Billie Eilish.
