A 48-year-old ambulance driver has been remanded to Dodds Prison after being charged with causing serious bodily harm to a man in St Michael. O’Brien Antonio Franklyn, of Quarry Road, Bank Hall, St Michael, appeared before Magistrate Jared Richards in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court accused of causing serious bodily harm to Andre Harry on September 2, with the intent to maim, disfigure or disable him. Franklyn, who was represented by Senior Counsel Andrew Pilgrim, was not required to plead to the indictable offence. The accused is due to reappear on September 30. (JB)
