Allies Arrive in Kyiv to Mark Ukraine's 35th Independence Day

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden, Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Estonian President Alar Karis and European Council President António Costa arrived in Kyiv on Monday morning, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported.“This morning, at Kyiv’s railway station, we were pleased to welcome our allies who joined us to celebrate 35 years since Ukraine restored its independence,” Sybiha wrote. “For Ukraine, independence is not an abstract idea. We have defended it despite all the difficulties.
